Studio Piet Boon Bathroom - Landscape Villa, The Netherlands From our design point of view, we look at each space with an aesthetic eye, but never overlook functional aspects. For the design of a space used as frequently as a bathroom, these two aspects must be in perfect balance. This ensures that the user enjoys a carefree and personal bathing ritual. With this idea in mind, this timeless bathroom has been developed. Sand tones, which serve as the base palette for this family villa, allow contrasting dark accessories and myriad textures, like honed Binache Beige to come into their own. Consistent formal proportions and refined choice in material illustrate the personality of the family, and allow the residents to enjoy the serene, welcoming atmosphere to the fullest. The various Piet Boon bathroom products are designed to enhance each other and any environment, and together form a harmonious whole; a contemporary living space imbued with peace and serenity. As in every project by Studio Piet Boon, art plays a crucial role because it allows us to truly incorporate the client's identity into a project. For the bathroom in this project, we collaborated with artist Mathieu Nab, among others.
