The design of the environments in which we live has a notable influence on our senses, emotions, decisions, and, therefore, our quality of life. Aware of these implications, the design of a stand can be quite a challenge, especially if we put ourselves in the shoes of the visitor, who walks for hours through the fair, visiting one space after the other, and who arrives overwhelmed, exhausted, and with his stimuli saturated at the end of the day.
Innovation
Inspired by the desire to provide a more human experience, the idea for this year’s Bathco stand was to create some kind of “oasis” or “forest” within the fair: a diaphanous microclimate with calm colors whose tour would absorb the visitor and abstract him, even if it is for a few minutes, from the vertigo and hustle that surrounds the general exhibition. A space where he can feel comfortable and find the calm or serenity necessary to enjoy the experience. A space that allows him to lower his heart rate and connect with the environment: a space that he wants to look at, touch, taste, and feel. In other words, a space to enjoy.
Creativity & Functionality
The result is a composition of curves and counter-curves that intertwine in an eloquent dialogue to generate a diaphanous and dynamic environment of semi-open and translucent spaces that stand like a wild forest with leafy vegetation crossed by a flowing path that, like life itself, has an organic course without a beginning or even an end.
The transparencies confer depth and perspective to the stand while providing a certain aura of privacy to each environment without falling into the exclusivity of closed spaces. They are areas that are partially “closed” to shelter those who visit them, but at the same time they are "opened,” inviting those who wish to visit them.
Sustainability
Aware of the environmental situation in which our planet finds itself, the stand has been designed with natural and sustainable materials, trying to avoid plastics, metals, chemicals, and other elements that are not reusable or harmful to the environment.
Furthermore, as if this were not enough, the entire space has been designed in order to generate almost zero waste once the fair has ended. Thus, the stand is made up mostly of display elements, such as pedestals and space structures, which have been designed with a “second life” to be reused later in the company's sales points.
In this way, Bathco remains faithful to its daily commitment to finding and working with sustainable solutions that are in tune with our planet's environment.
