The hotel is located above Tang Mountain where the landscape and ecology have been severely damaged due to mining and destruction. Designer uses the light, stone, forest and other natural elements to activate this mine valley, and ecologically restore the long-abandoned quarry and achieve sustainability. How to integrate with the surrounding natural environment and the contracture is a big challenge of interior design. The indoor design language needs to highlight the mountain elements while the curve lines of the architecture need to be conformed, which to create a most natural state where the interior and exterior are integrated. 

The visual expression of the entrance and lobby is the core of reaching the first experience of the guests. Therefore, imitating the most primitive state of nature, and at the same time highlighting the theme of "rebirth" to reflect the integration of the hotel and the surrounding environment has become the vital point of interior design. Moreover, how to use and combine natural elements, as well as materials selection and technical presentations, are require comprehensive consideration. 

The steel diagonal bracing of the building leads to many abrupt structures in the interior, which has a particularly great impact on the interior design. Designers need to consider how to naturally smooth out the abrupt structure, fluent the spatial layout and transition of various areas, and combine natural elements to present a harmonious and comfortable environment. 

The designer draws inspiration from "breeding, breaking, and rebirth", which laying a foundation for the spiritual pursuit and artistic imagination of spaces. To compare the overall building and space to a nurturing body of life, the lobby presents the vitality and tension of "rebirth from the cocoon" in a modern minimalist design style. It emphasizes the sustainable concept of respecting the ecosystem by selecting and using natural materials. 

The design concept of "The Valley of Light" was integrated into the lobby bar. Based on the deep and serene sense, and the unpredictable change of the canyon, the block is cut with curved surface technology, and form an art wall that presents the scale and inclusiveness of nature. Stepping into it is like being surrounded by a natural canyon. Taking the flow of light and shadow as the action line, and with the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the all-day-dining restaurant sublimate the emotional experience in every layout and detail, and build a modern poetic space with light and shade. 

The overall spatial layout of the interior is planned in accordance with the curve concept, thus solving the abrupt steel structure of the architecture. The curve has been extended to an artistic expression of the walls, ceiling and other areas, and the abrupt parts are well blended into the curve composition, which make the entire space presents a harmonious artistic beauty.
