AVENUE ROAD's Vancouver Showroom is built within a restored and revived one-hundred-year-old heritage building in the beautiful city of Vancouver. Much like the brand, the building was chosen because it had stories to tell, having been home to a newspaper and a furrier for decades. Respecting the existing heritage and beauty of the structure and surrounding community, Stephan Weishaupt and designer Abraham Chan worked extensively with heritage consultants to preserve many of the building’s original elements. An example can be seen in the building’s original Douglas Fir columns and beams, which were integrated into the design to pay tribute to the regions natural environment and the spirit of Vancouver’s older architecture. Entering through doors off of Hamilton Street to the lower level, guests are greeted by a modern and architectural floral shop called Hanna by Celsia Floral, a revered local Vancouver florist. As they move through Hanna, guests will find a showcase of all of AVENUE ROAD Vancouver’s exclusive branded partnerships, including The Rug Company, Porsche Design Lighting from Apure, , Tribù Outdoor Furniture, and Obumex bespoke and signature kitchens. On the main floor of the showroom, guests will discover AVENUE ROAD’s signature, curated edit of modern furniture, textiles, and accessories, sourced from the world’s leading design brands and designers, such as Bruno Moinard, Christophe Delcourt, Van Rossum and Yabu Pushelberg.
