Creativity: Inspiration for this design originated from the historic Villa Marie, one of the last remaining in this area. Built in the 1940s, the Villa’s arched columns, the site’s history for growing orchids, as well as Singapore’s pastel ‘shop front’ houses with colourful tiled courtyards can be seen reinterpreted throughout Artyzen.

Artyzen is a bespoke property in every sense and maintains strong links to its narrative-lead design and cultural expressionism. The result is an elevated, immersive, multi-sensory delight, pushing the boundaries of design, to bring surprise and wonderment to the guest experience.

Many elements are inspired by the past including the arches, taking on different forms throughout the hotel, the orchid motif, conceived as ‘faded’ ombre-style wallpaper in the lobby, curved copper screens, bamboo screens and louvres (found at the Raffles Hotel) that diffuse the Singaporean sunlight, and bright bespoke carpets and polished terrazzo floors. These details are evident at every turn.

Innovation: Artyzen seamlessly integrates art, culture, and technology. Its avant-garde interior design, curated art collections, and interactive interfaces redefine the guest experience. Custom designed rugs, lighting, and wall graphics contribute to its uniqueness.

Artyzen is bespoke in every aspect. From custom designed rugs, wall graphics, carpets, lighting, sanitaryware, the design innovation runs deep, culminating in a surprising and inquisitive guest journey. By pushing boundaries and fostering creativity at every turn, Artyzen offers guests a highly unique and innovative experience, unmatched by it’s competitors.

Functionality: The 142 guest suites, including a presidential suite, offer generous terraces and a communal garden with a glass-bottomed pool. Vintage Peranakan plates, velvet furniture, and commissioned art enhance the guest experience. With four-meter-high ceilings in every guest room and commissioned artworks from celebrated Singaporean artists, there’s a sense of staying in one’s own secluded pavilion.

Sustainability: Artyzen has been described as a lush vertical oasis in line with Singapore’s famous “City in Nature” Green Plan. With its lush, gardened facade. The hotel's commitment to sustainability is obvious. Through meticulous landscape design, the hotel creates biodiverse ecosystems that promote relaxation and contribute to the local environment's resilience. Moreover, the incorporation of water-efficient irrigation systems minimizes water wastage. Artyzen seamlessly integrates passive design initiatives such as natural ventilation and eco-friendly practices into its ethos. Every room has access to ceiling fans and fresh air, reducing the need to use air conditioning.

By integrating these sustainable practices into its operations and outdoor spaces, Artyzen Hotel not only sets a precedent for responsible hospitality but also provides guests with a transformative experience that respects and preserves the natural beauty of Singapore's landscape.
