“Organic Structure with Margins and Irregularities” Here we can see a space, one that could be called a margin, that does not have the purpose of location that it initially suggests, as well as elements that are intuitively perceived to be uneven. These are similar to what we see in certain styles of painting where "one’s relationship to marginal spaces" and "sensory elements" facilitate the power to inspire people's creativity. In addition to the primitive method of forming space, this is an attempt to capture the wholeness that can be found beyond connecting these seemingly aimless elements, or in other words, an organic state uniquely resulting from being irregular. The concept of the museum is "Experiencing Creation". By seeing, sensing, and knowing in this space, visitors can experience the creativity of the artworks and artists, which will help to inspire them to explore toward a new era of creativity. The name of the new building, "ARTIZON," is coined from "ART" and "HORIZON. Making the inside of the museum visible to the outside was a requirement for it to embody a new relationship with art. While this contradicts the basic requirement of not allowing natural light into the exhibition rooms, by creating a space placed between the inside and the outside, and by making the closed spatial volume visible, the aim was to create a museum that is open to the city both visually and sensorily. Of the 23 floors of Museum Tower Kyobashi, the 1st through 6th floors are dedicated to the museum, while the upper three serve as exhibition rooms and the lower half as public spaces such as the entrance, a café, a shop and a lecture room.
