The project brief was to change a high-end yet traditional stone, tile, and bath ware supplier’s showroom into an immersive interior mecca, to be used as a creative paradise of limitless potential for architects, designers and dreamers alike.
The designers conceptualized a four-part journey for the showroom starting with:
1. The Reception: A dramatic custom fluted Elba marble reception desk welcomes clients into a light-filled atrium that celebrates and safeguards the heritage building’s Art Deco design.
2. Casa Artedomus: An Italian street scape that leads clients into a dream apartment, which is more of an inspirational home used to showcase the exclusive furniture and finishes. Creatives and clients alike are able to experience the range here and nurture their ideas in an aspirational yet user-friendly designer abode.
3. The Showroom: The retailer’s bath ware products are put centre stage in design envy settings, where customers are able to see curated examples of the exclusive Agape bathware, stone, and tile collection.
4. The Library: The journey concludes with an architect’s and designer’s study. It is a meeting place for designers and clients as well as an archive of the retailer’s extensive range of unique tiles, mosaics, and architectural ceramics.
