The ARCH&ARCH project is a Gyrotonic fitness and education space designed by our company in 2023. We respect both the historical essence of the project's architectural ensemble and the modernity of the exercise and the brand itself. We neither blindly follow vintage styles nor deliberately chase after novelty; instead, we integrate visual cues from both the "old and new."The contrasts between the old and the new are transformed through design into a harmonious tension. The body, mind, and environment resonate beautifully across various dimensions.

Different exercises have different impacts on people.
Similarly, different spaces also have varying experiences and impacts on people. both of these influences are felt through the "body". We align with the temperament of this exercise, the historic architectural ensemble and the ARCH&ARCH brand through the crafting of structure, scale, materials, color, and interplay of light and shadow. As a result, the overall project has a tranquil and natural feel, with a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, simple and forceful presence, and a sense of harmony and connection with the people and things around it, like a collective breath.

The spacious and open lobby allows people to communicate with ease and naturally transition into a peaceful state. The semi-transparent grille between the lobby and the classroom ensures privacy while revealing the focused atmosphere in the classroom. The simple and practical dressing spaces prompt people to focus on the main tasks. The warmth and brightness of natural sunlight, the earth-tone colors, and the primitive natural materials remind us to align our bodies with the world.

We place user experience above decorative effects, allowing the design to embrace you like a finely textured blanket. Rather than just focusing on commercial efficiency, our approach is driven by a genuine passion for this exercise. The brand hopes to introduce this exercise to more people, allowing them to find a release from the pressures and anxieties of fast-paced modern life and to experience the beauty inherent in life itself. We aim to articulate this brand's core value, steeped in humanistic concern because it aligns seamlessly with our design philosophy. Our design approach for spaces is grounded in our understanding and vision of scenarios, striving to stay true to reality while aiming for the utmost beauty.

Space cannot be separated from its regional and historical characteristics, and newly built spaces grow organically within the existing environment, hence, they must coexist harmoniously with the surrounding urban context and the historic architectural ensemble. which is our design attitude. We ensure that what is preserved is not stiff, and what is newly built is not jarring. Innovative designs have a real foundation in history, and history also gains new vitality through the infusion of design.
