The Aranya Hidden Place Hotel is on the serene Golden Coast at Qinhuangdao. With 180 guestrooms featuring bath pools, a versatile lobby, an all-day restaurant, a banquet hall, a SPA, and a meditation area, this hotel offers a unique escape from the hectic, high-density urban life. It's a sanctuary that invigorates the soul and renews the spirit. The bath pool-themed rooms invite guests on an immersive mental and physical journey, while a stroll through the teahouse-like lobby evokes a sense of belonging.

Belongings, Teahouse
The Lobby space is not just a check-in place but a place to unwind and stay, as the hotel is nestled away from the center of the community. Several teahouse pavilions grace the lobby, creating a warm and welcoming sense. These pavilions, positioned in different spots, outlined and paved with gravel, light box walls with a soft wooden frame, resemble a natural growth from a concrete stone base. These contrasting materials, dark, bright, heavy, and light, form a pure space. The original grand scale of the lobby area is transformed into a human-scale teahouse with different sizes and layouts, creating an open, dynamic, inversed inner and outer space and a path to a mystery and pleasurable journey. The levitating teahouse and the lamp at night bring a sense of belonging on a trip: when night falls, the guests share a warm and inviting time.

Be-with-water, Habitat
Each guestroom is designed with a bathing pool to evoke a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. The courtyard suite features a unique bathroom that opens to both the private inner and natural outer world for bathing. Similarly, the triangle area in the original space is transformed into a large-scale bar, offering a refreshing experience and presenting unconventional hospitality. A decentered wall, a unique design element textured with wood veneer, is created by the anti-decorated principle that retains a physical sense and spiritual imagination, further enhancing the tranquil and rejuvenating experience of the hotel.

Vigor, Landscapes
The architect JUNG Donghyun has creatively infused the hotel with Eastern aesthetics, considering the spatial lifecycle and sustainability, with a deliberate touch, light, and natural elements. The use of timber in various ways creates a continuity interior. The timber grilles partition wall in the restaurant serves as a functional boundary. The dining area with a simple block ceiling opens the vertical vision. The wooden panel grilles in the banquet hall keep in line and rhyme, hide the installment, and consider acoustic. The foyer of the banquet ceiling is filled with a rectangular frame. Sunlight filters through floor-to-ceiling windows, connecting the views of the restaurant and outdoors, enhancing the vistas from the banquet foyer to the southern forests. The natural vigor of the interiors makes a tranquil landscape.
