INNOVATION We challenged conventional bank design by creating a fluid, open, and inviting space rather than a compartmentalized, fortress-like institution. 90% transparency was achieved by enclosing most rooms in frameless glass, reducing visual noise and opening the layout to light and landscape. Meeting rooms were structurally resolved without ceiling contact using metal door portals with integrated hidden supports. A suspended executive desk appears weightless while concealing a complex steel frame. Utilities such as ventilation and lighting are invisibly housed in metal cylinders that hover above meeting rooms, blending into the space while ensuring technical access. A 3-ton stone “A” monolith serves as sculptural branding, anchoring the space with symbolic permanence.

FUNCTIONALITY Every design decision serves both aesthetic and practical purposes. We met the client's requirement for six functional zones while maintaining openness and flow. Only two zones are enclosed with solid walls; all others use glass to preserve visual connectivity. Lighting was reimagined as navigation, with motion-activated meeting room lights and directional neon lines that guide users intuitively. A custom-designed reception desk, inspired by spaceship control bridges, doubles as a landmark and a functional workstation. Perforated ceiling panels conceal complex technical systems while remaining easily accessible for maintenance.

CREATIVITY The project demonstrates how a minimalist palette can support expressive, iconic interventions. Materials such as walnut-toned veneer, clinker tile, glass, metal, and stone are used with precision, allowing the architectural form to take the lead. A flowing “sand dune” line along the glass perimeter connects the interior and the landscape, integrating greenery to visually extend the natural setting. The bespoke furniture program includes the sculptural reception desk and levitating manager’s desk, both enhancing the narrative quality of the interior. Subtle brand integration, such as embossing on client-facing elements and hidden wireless charging, reinforces identity without visual overload.

ECO-SOCIAL IMPACT The design emphasizes sustainability and user well-being. The space is daylight-optimized, reducing artificial lighting needs during operating hours. Durable, long-life materials like stone, metal, and ceramic tiles were chosen to minimize long-term maintenance and replacement. Glass-enclosed rooms foster psychological transparency and trust, reflecting the bank’s values of openness and reliability. Minimal partitions and abundant natural light promote staff well-being, while soft finishes and acoustic considerations enhance client comfort. OUTCOME The result is a cohesive and elegant office that invites users into a space of calm assurance — a bank that doesn’t intimidate, but welcomes. It reflects both the technological sophistication and natural awareness of today’s best workplaces.
