Our approach to delivering this project to our client was based around us utilising critical elements of the existing fit-out, designing and building simple custom fixtures, and then opening the doors of the pop-up shop ready for the largest trading day of the year in the centre – which happened to be within 4 weeks! No challenge too big they say..! The challenge for this project was that we had a limited budget and a short timeline, so in order to deliver a great concept store to the client, we had multiple people working on the project simultaneously, each person delivering a different element, including our projects management team, who ensured buildability and availability of our design intent through to delivery. The concept and colour palette direction was inspired by the Brett Whitely Studio custom fabrics used in the new Aje collection. The fixtures and displays designed brought an immense flare and functionality to the space. Large plinths were designed to display custom art installations, whilst custom powder coated hangers and racking brought a further aspect of detail to the space. We sourced repurposed second hand pieces from TV’s to Bathtubs, to bring the brand and ranges personality to the customer.
