Creneau's latest design project, the headquarters of insurance multinational Ageas in Brussels, embodies the brand's commitment to innovation, functionality, creativity, and sustainability. The office design is a direct response to the post-Covid work environment's need for adaptability, community, well-being, sustainability, and advanced technology. The design's core principle is the well-being of employees and the ability to attract new talent. With extensive experience in hospitality, Creneau has managed to create a work environment that feels more like home than a traditional office, while also using innovative techniques to achieve a truly hybrid workspace.

The residential material palette of walnut, Mable and linnen is complemented with functional elements in acoustics (double glass, upholstered wall panels, high-pile carpeting, and perforated ceilings), lighting (while soft indirect lighting prevails in most of the offices, a standard of 500 lux is implemented at the workstations) and custom room dividers which create “office neighborhoods” providing privacy and tranquility in the open-plan layout.

While the flex workspaces and office spaces are located in the shell of the building to take full advantage of natural daylight, the spaces in the core are imbued with the most innovative technology such as digitally bookable meeting rooms optimized with large dual screens for state-of-the-art videoconferencing and custom created trapezium shaped meeting tables allowing participants to face each other as well as on screen guests.

The design includes a 4 story high atrium that functions as a winter garden and is designed to make optimal use of natural daylight. Ageas's also partnered with two art organizations, Kunst in Huis and Copper & Light, which provide a platform for young and starting artists.

Creativity is evident in the combination of vintage and contemporary design elements throughout the office, with vintage furniture pieces sourced from Modest Furniture in Antwerp, including collector's items such as the Easy and Bucket chairs by Fabricus & Kastholm and the Paper Knife lounge chairs by Kai Kristiansen.
