On March 8 Sila Sveta in partnership with Gst.Moscow and Kuflex created a vivid multimedia show for Therr Maitz live concert employing some of the newest technologies. Projection on a transparent structure filled with haze, real-time 3D scans of the artists that became a part of the video content on big screens and a beautiful light show – all of these became an integral part of the live performance in Moscow’s Adrenaline Stadium. Our partners from Gst.Moscow have completed the live concert with a remarkable light show from the very beginning till the end. To complement commonly used lighting tools with more unusual elements and to add more volume to the overall picture lighting designer Stepan Novikov placed additional LED strip lights right on the suspended haze installation . For the extraordinary visual effects that would complete the atmosphere of the live performance we have decided to conduct an experiment with projecting visuals on haze. We created a 16-meter-long voluminous suspended structure made of trusses, covered it with transparent plastic and filled it with haze. We then mapped it with projected generative graphics, responsive to the music in real time. Our colleagues from Kuflex applied an innovative technology during the concert – 3D scan in real time. Three musicians including two vocal singers and one drummer were scanned with 6 motion sensors Kinect 2. Artists’ voluminous avatars in virtual space were instantly broadcast on a huge stage screen.
