ACCUMULATA R5 – SHAPING URBAN FUTURE Accumulata, a real estate development company, strives for adding value in the development and mangagement of state of the art buildings, by providing sustainable environments that enrichen the respective city as well as the inhabitants of each project. With the planning of their own office in the center of Munich an interior was generated that „practices what they preach“: locality embracing internationality, natural and sustainable materials, craftsmenship and precise fit out planning that altogether evolve into a tailor-made and bespoke office space that provides for interaction, connectivity, communication as well as for retreat and concentration. The targeted objective was, to bring an spatial setting to live, that nourishes the highly communicative, intensely vital but also very focused and goal-oriented nature of the team of Accumulata. Contrasting the buzz of the city with a very approachable interior of the space was the challenge of this project. The Accumulata R5 office space, with overall 750 SQM, sprawls over two different floors within a center of town building. The first level on 2nd floor is fully focused on all needs of the daily work, from interaction and communication to retreats for calls and relax zones, complemented by the Rooftop Level, which serves as meeting and representation Hub displaying views all over Munich City Center. The work surroundings on the 2nd floor provide long benches, which are placed very uncongested in the two parts of the floorplan, to enhance communicativity of the workflow. These Work Hubs are neighboring several phone and retreat boxes in varios sizes and fit outs, which offer divers settings for calls and meetings by different furnishings and technical equipments – from analogue to digital. The center of the office floor is originates from the „Arena Seating“, combined with the „Stand Up Bar“ and the adjacent Coffepoint and Lounge Seating. The extensive use of all natural wood, going as far as handcrafted wood/glass partion walls, is contrasted by powerful reddish coloring, which is, on the one side, the corporate color world of Accumulata but at the same time displays the energy and creative impulse of the team through the spacial design. Hereby the interior design provides for both: the neutral, natural work environment as well as the warm and luminous communication spaces. Moving up to the rooftop level, we find ourselves in an elegant muted space that containes the „Board Room“, the „Stüberl“ a „Cigar Lounge Meeting“ and- the pivot point- the Bar with its rooftop access. By using all local wood, even so far to create a typical bavarian „Stüberl“ of Vintage Wood, the space has a calm and welcoming vibe, which gets empowered by the distinct design of the Bar Element. The specially developed lighting concepts, enhance the personality of the different Meeting Areas. The overall Message of this interior is, to show the highly innovative strength and competence of the Company - adding Value for the employees, the visitors and the space itself with a state of the Art interior in a warm but powerfull design. This main prospect evolved into spatial life.
