Famous for being the first to think of beautiful design in innovative computers, Apple employees were given a newly created headquarters.

Situated in Munich‘s city centre, the new Apple Headquarters with a total floor area of 3,700 m2 has been completed after 10 months under construction: architects at CSMM - architecture matters have restructured the formerly cramped, cell-like spatial distribution to create an open and communicative office world over four floors.

On the ground floor, an impressive, light-filled reception area awaits visitors; also used for product presentation. This space extends into the adjacent conference area.

On the upper floors, the architects have created a mixed office structure in which areas of open space, enclosed individual offices, phone booths and various types of conference rooms support the many diverse activities, promoting communication and concentration. Glass partitions separate the individual areas from one another, creating a light and generously-sized feeling of space. Every floor is complemented by open plan tea and coffee stations. A large cafeteria with roof terrace completes the office areas.

Innovative media technology enables the conference rooms to display digital content individually. CSMM has also equipped them with fabric-covered acoustic wall panels, in which the
media technology is integrated. Panels or slatted wooden ceilings alternating with fabric-covered ceiling panels ensure the right acoustic.
