The 25hours Hotel has found its new home in Munich, in the magnificent building at Bahnhofplatz 1, originally home to the royal telegraph station. The historic building presented the perfect starting point for a new hotel for the 25hours Hotel Company, which strives to spur guests’ imagination with highly unique, beautiful and functional designs.

Inspired by a journey through Bavaria, the designers developed a concept that would transport guests into a land of royal opulence and the fantasy world of Bavaria’s Fairy Tale King, Ludwig II. Guests are first greeted at the reception, featuring brass accents among custom, floral-patterned carpet, with matching wallpaper and curtains. From there, they can enjoy the whimsical built-in miniatures in the elevators on the way to their room, which is designed either in the style of servants’ quarters, Lords’ chambers or Nobles’ apartments – despite their names, each offers their own unique charm and style without sacrificing comfort or functionality.

Guests can enjoy an afternoon coffee in the Orangery, attend a meeting in the Bavarian-style Muschelkammer (shell chamber) or dine under the glass chandeliers in the Neni restaurant. To conclude the evening, guests are encouraged to climb the elegant, illuminated show staircase leading to the reception and Boilerman Bar, where velvet-upholstered seats and brass accents complement a variety of excellent drinks and cocktails.
