Established in 2020, 1-7 Bread is a high quality Japanese bakery brand with the brand concept of "Bread for Everyday Life" and has grown to have 4 shops. This project is located in the B1 floor of the Shenzhen One Avenue. It is surrounded by some of typical chain stores. So the design is needed not only Japanese style bakery but also eye-catching personality.

The design team has always followed the development of new and emerging brands, combining dynamic lines and materials to create a planned and strategic flow of space, optimizing the baking and consumption process of staff and customers in the space, helping 1-7Bread to stand out among many similar brands.

Firstly, in the center of the shop, the space is centred on a circular counter-clockwise flow line, linking the whole process of entering the shop - selecting bread - paying. White as the base, the central bread display area is made of specially treated metal cladding, which is also the main customer photo area of the bakery. This circle represents a concept of this store "1-7 Bread" that we wish everyone wants to enjoy our bread seven days a week, from Monday to Sunday, days go around like a cycle. Then the structure becomes a important symbol of a store

Secondly, when planning other functions of the store, the design team also centers on the circular central display area and spreads outward to improve the layout of the plane. For example, the table and chair dining area and the commodity display cabinet all echo with it, highlighting the unity and integrity of its brand concept. At the back of the restaurant, customers can see the real-time cooking in the kitchen area through the glass on the shelves while selecting their bread, enhancing the strong baking-consumption correlation and high interactivity.

Finally, in the selection of materials, the designer abandoned the complicated stacking of materials, but followed the concept of "less is more", and selected simple materials for keep balance with the individual shape, textured paint, special stainless steel, acrylic as a accent and some terrazzo stone for floor.
