Inspired by the iconic arches of the Obidos aqueduct in Portugal, the ZEHNFINGER stool architecture surprisingly reinterprets monumental column architecture. In the exquisitely crafted solid wood corpus, 2 sides rhythmised by arches contrast with 2 closed sides. Depending on the incidence of light, column shadows wander through the room. The comfortable, hand-sewn fabric upholstery is firmly anchored in the corpus. Quality in detail and time-honoured design make the ZEHNFINGER stool a beloved companion for life. ZEHNFINGER combines originality, modern minimalism and sculptural furniture design. Slender arches, elegant proportions and symmetrical balance give the stool an aura of serene nobility.
The colour scheme and vertical lines of the body, finger columns, oak grain and high upholstery radiate mediative clarity. As a design solitaire, ZEHNFINGER brings the aesthetics of classical architecture into sophisticated interiors. Magical like great aqueduct architectures, Sitzhocker ZEHNFINGER attracts people. Every detail of the spectacular furniture sculpture breathes contemplation, art, culture. Materials, light and columns play, interact, tell inspiring stories. In 4 colours of 50 pieces each. ZEHNFINGER Black is a very personal furniture design by designer Daniel Heilig, limited to 50 pieces. He was inspired by his passion for sneakers, fascination with the Triple Black colourway, as well as designer Yohji Yamamoto and his legendary, lustfully rebellious approach to elegant, deep dark All Black.
The ZEHNFINGER upholstered stool is available in 4 different colour variations that harmonise with each other. Black oak, stained and oiled, with deep black virgin wool upholstery made from the finest New Zealand worsted yarn. The visually and haptically exquisite fabric is woven, dyed and finished to last in a British textile dynasty. Natural oak, oiled, with upholstery fabric in green, red or anthracite melange, woven from eco-certified, lightfast artificial yarn in a traditional Italian manufactory. The oak comes from sustainably managed forests in Germany.
