Trilix is an outdoor lamps, produced by Artemide and designed by Mario Cucinella, with a lightweight structure consisting of three elements that intertwine, giving stability and support to a flat disc with a ring of direct light that diffuses softly into the surrounding environment.
The light head concentrates the light downwards in a controlled, non-dazzling way that is also open so that it generates a large space of light. Trilix, from the Latin for 3 threads, refers to the weave of three intertwined threads which, in the tradition of the ancient Romans, guaranteed great strength.
Their interweaving enables the structure to be slim and open, and to interact with the natural setting into which it is inserted as a regular geometry that looks dynamic from different perspectives and recalls the natural growth of interweaving branches.
This lighting product is design for the outdoor. It has a base, to ensure it is correctly fixed to the ground and it is conceived for a perfect integration with the green, supporting climbing plants as they grow.
