This is a piece designed and created by designer Olga Hanono. It occurred to him to restore and paint an old console and paint it with the colors of his collection that he recently took out with the Mexican brand Comex. Each color in Olga's color palette is inspired by the things she likes the most. This console is very eclectic since we use old furniture and renew it with current materials.
Each piece of the console was placed in a glass box, together they are a work of art. This piece demonstrates the essence of the disruptive and creative designer. It is thought that this piece can be placed in any style of house, apartment, office since it gives a plus to the space. This piece was quite a challenge since restoring such an old piece requires special care. The idea of painting it with colors and vertical stripes was inspired by barcodes. It was more complicated than expected but the piece is a work of art, many craftsmen were needed since each line of painting is handmade and it took many weeks to finish it
Due to the curatorship of this piece and the workmanship, it was selected to be featured at the Biennal di Venezia 2022 along with other pieces designed by designer Olga Hanono. This console is now part of the DREAMVILLE collection, where it is currently exhibited at the Fondazione Amedeo Modigliani, Venezia.
