Routes is a toolbox of boldly conceived products that depart from traditional contract furniture. The collection is readily adaptable to spaces big and small, to the requirements of an established enterprise, and to the needs of those who work at home. Every item is designed to be as simple and practical as possible to ensure the user intuitively understands how to use it while still fulfilling its intended function. Routes delivers a graphic and bold design language driven by a refined utility without compromising comfort by fastidiously applying this economy of means to all collection pieces.

Light, agile, and mobile, Routes encourages people to move themselves and their furniture around, to make or unmake a space to think, meet, or create. This ability to facilitate kinetic work is reflected in the collection name: “Routes” denotes intentional mobility—a workplace where people are free to use the furniture as tools to pursue multiple pathways to achieving shared and individual goals.

The collection’s focus on function is tempered with playfulness and irreverence. There’s a distinct sense of light-heartedness to the design of each piece—a strong and charismatic personality rooted in the chunky, confident curves of tubular steel and bold color palette. For example, colorful builders' buckets inspired the Multipurpose Stool, as they are often used in impromptu seating arrangements before being stacked away in a corner. The handle of the Adjustable Side Table is a conscious reference to the adjustment mechanism of a bicycle seat, and the seat of a tractor was a distinct inspiration for the Three-Legged Stool. The whimsical nature of Routes makes it appealing to engage with, giving the collection a domestic quality that elevates it above typical office furniture and proves a touch of fun is an essential part of an effective working practice and a powerful trigger for creativity.

Routes also adds an expressive element through vivid accent colors, Blue Sage and Signal Red. All Routes products are available in a curated, designer-selected finish palette. To create the desired final look, users can choose from 32 laminate and 36 paint options, along with various upholstery fabrics and wood stains. Metals frames and plastic are common materials applied throughout the collection. Designed for durability, flexibility, ease of assembly, and disassembly, Routes supports sustainability by reducing waste, materials, transport, and packaging, as well as prioritizing recyclability. The Smooth Felt Screens are manufactured with 60% post-consumer recycled PET fiber and are free of binding chemicals and VOCs. Where possible, the pieces are designed for flat-pack distribution and self-assembly, allowing for energy-efficient, direct-to-customer shipping that saves both money and environmental impact.
