The OE1 Sit-Stand table is new in form, control and electronics. It incorporates a single height-adjustable column and is operated by a discreet foot pedal to control height - keeping the design minimal in appearance and simple to use. It is sold flat-pack with a weight that is less than a typical office chair.
The table has been designed with only 5 parts to assemble compared to the typical 23 parts. All of the tables power, controls and electronics are enclosed within its base at floor level. This gives a higher level of aesthetic dignity to what is normally viewed as unfortunate office machinery. The table uses a combination of material processes to achieve a simple silhouette - recycled aluminium die-castings are used for the base and the table-top support, with an aluminium extrusion that connects these components. It's form is meant to appeal both to the workplace and the home, where, because of its simplicity, it does not remind people of work.
The electronics are also innovative - USBc power for laptops has be integrated with the motor driver, allowing only one mains cord to exit the product.
