The name “JINGU” comes from the connection between myself and the Meiji Jingu Shrine located in the neighborhood of our office. Also, the tranquility I felt when I walked into the precincts of Ise Jingu on a trip and the sacred air different from the great nature left a deep impression on me.

The horizontal and vertical lines common to these series of chairs with their moderate thickness create a reassuring atmosphere. I believe that they fit well in a Japanese-style space. I also tried not to create a heavy impression, paying attention to the back view. On the other hand, I made the back and seat have a plump look and the cushion to be rather soft to gently support the body of the person sitting on it.

To make the product more suitable for all types of spaces, customers can choose and personalize the materials used. The main structure is made of Japanese Ash that comes from the dense forests of Hokkaido, Japan and is carefully and highly precisely processed by Japanese furniture manufacturers.
