Héctor Esrawe’s work reflects clear knowledge and understanding of materials, processes, techniques and artisanal skills. Esrawe transforms the shape and expression of natural materials, while being nurtured by Mexico’s rich artisan heritage, aiming for a timeless and honest creation. Ancestral artisanal skills in Mexico have evolved into contemporary collectible design works that are not only preserving the artisanal heritage but also gaining recognition and admiration globally. Esrawe works with traditional techniques, to create pieces that are both aesthetic and functional, while being a testament to the enduring relevance of ancient Mexican heritage.

The Frecuencia Collection unifies a variety of sculptural pieces through a rhythmic interplay of repetition and variation. The continuous bent steel bars shape each piece, creating the sensation of an endless, functional vibration. Using the same principle of repetition, the depth and offsetting of the bars create negative space, allowing light to exist thus creating the expression of a halo or aura. The refraction from these shapes then radiate with a vibrational divinity.
