Fragmento pursues a search for the balance, tension and counterbalance between several materials. In the evocative expression of its materiality and constructive solution, Fragmento bounces Esrawe’s constant rumination between complex fabrication and simple expression. 

The modular blued brass top floats intercepted by a green marble column, articulated by a perpendicular volume of the same material that acts as a counterweight and delivers the perfect balance. 

Fragmento finds its premise on the evolution of the use of materials, the relationships between them and their handling techniques, in an open-ended challenge between the designer and the workshop’s abilities.
