Material
Float tables have a minimal number of different materials and do not utilise any Red List Chemicals, like formaldehyde, in their seamless design. Materials and finishes are carefully selected for their durability, beauty and ability to be recycled with ease. The powder-coat paint finish on the steel leg and base is smooth, even, and resilient, resisting common wear and tear like scratches and damage from both moisture and sunlight. And unlike the sterile finishes on traditional desks, the surface options including painted wood, bamboo and natural linoleum, are curated to be warm and tactile, inviting calm and familiarity.

As work environments embrace lounges, breakout areas, and other informal settings, prioritising hybrid and more fluid workspaces, the need is also growing for environments that support focus and collaboration. Work is no longer confined to a single desk. We shift between spaces—lounging with a laptop, taking meetings from the couch, or setting up temporary workstations across shared environments.

Float Mini and Float Micro tables deliver the perfect balance of height-adjustable mobility and stability. They encourage frequent changes in posture, which improves circulation, reduces muscle strain, and prevents the health risks that come from prolonged sitting. From casual conversations to heads-down work, they transform any spot into a functional, ergonomic workspace—no power, no hassle, just pure adaptability.

Designed with an offset leg, Float Mini and Float Micro maximise stability while providing more usable space beneath the desk. Unlike centred bases, this thoughtful design places the desk column closer to the edge, improving legroom and making it easier to position the desk against walls or beneath side tables, offering versatility in both home and office environments.

Their compact worksurfaces fit into just about any workspace, while offering ample room for your essentials. They’re ideal for both focused work and multitasking in tight environments and both tables offer the flexibility of optional glides or locking casters, allowing you to choose between stable, fixed placement, or effortless mobility.

Float Mini and Float Micro embody our commitment to creating ergonomic and sustainable products. Although standard in most other sit/stand desks, they don’t use any harmful Red List chemicals, such as formaldehyde. Explore various worksurface options, from Painted MDF and Bamboo to a Natural Linoleum top crafted from natural materials like linseed oil and wood flour. Float Mini and Float Micro are available in a range of hues, so you can match your workspace to your style or surroundings. Whether you prefer a clean, neutral palette or a bold, vibrant tone, their versatile finishes help them blend with any décor.

Float Mini and Float Micro are designed for movement, flexibility, and ergonomic comfort in every setting, ensuring workspaces that promote well-being, wherever work happens.
