ED079 is a table lamp born from a deep reflection on the concept of light as a dynamic, adaptable, and mindful experience. Designed to engage in dialogue with its surrounding environment, ED079 combines technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity in an object capable of redefining the interaction between user, function, and space.

At the heart of the project lies a lightweight, linear aluminum structure interwoven with a network of elastic cables. This mesh shapes a spatial volume that is primarily functional yet visually striking, drawing the eye through a three-dimensional interplay. The structure is designed to be modular and customizable, allowing users to choose from various lighting module formats and configure it to suit their unique environment.

The combination of materials, volumes, and colors results in a product that stands out without being intrusive, in which form follows function. The visible intersection of rigid and flexible elements makes ED079 a theatrical object that stimulates curiosity and invites interaction.

The lamp includes multiple light sources that can rotate independently thanks to a join system allowing full 360° rotation. This enables complete freedom in directing the light. ED079 thus becomes a lighting design tool, capable of adapting to various needs and spaces.

The lightweight structure, combined with the minimalism of the materials and construction precision, makes ED079 a durable object designed to adapt over time to different settings and uses. The lamp’s modularity not only meets functional or aesthetic requirements, but also represents a design vision in which the object evolves with the user and with time, becoming part of a conscious daily life in dialogue with the challenges of the present.

The lightness of the aluminum and balanced weight distribution make ED079 easy to move, adapting to the evolution of spaces and user habits. Even the assembly process is designed to be part of the experience: each component fits together precisely, and the join system allows for intuitive, engaging, and immediate interaction. Assembling ED079 is not only a technical task, but it’s a moment of connection between the object and the user, an invitation to understand its internal logic, to personalize it, to live it.

Its special connection system not only ensures ease of use but also allows for smart logistical optimization: the lamp’s components can be aligned and compacted, minimizing bulk during transport. This approach enables efficient and responsible distribution, actively contributing to reducing the environmental impact associated with logistics.

ED079 is more than just a lamp: it is a modular system, a formal and technical design exploration, and a lighting concept that evolves with its user. A synthesis of creativity, functionality, and environmental responsibility, it offers a contemporary solution for those seeking not just light, but interaction, identity, and awareness.
