We aim to make FRAME Awards a democratic, integral part of the global design community. Juries are renewed every month to include as many voices, opinions and backgrounds on our platform as possible.

From February to September 2025, a diverse jury panel of industry stakeholders vote every month to select one Winner of the Month and four Honourable Mentions, regardless of category. The evaluation process takes place online daily, with the jury’s scores and feedback published for each submitted project or product to offer full transparency. Submissions are evaluated according to the following criteria:

Innovation

Does the space or product introduce a new concept within its sector?

Creativity

Is the design of the space or product original and inventive?

Functionality

Is the space or product designed with a focus on human needs and experiences?

Eco-Social Impact

Does the design positively impact (the wellbeing of) people, communities, and the planet (by addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges)?

In October 2025, the five highest-scoring submissions per category will be shortlisted. A grand jury consisting of representatives from previous jury panels will choose the top work of each category and declare it Winner of the Year. On 5 November, 34 winners – one from each category – will be announced.
