Concrete’s residential project in Manhattan ‘The West’, pays a homage to the area's industrial heritage. Smartly designed condos create the best residential experience celebrating the views over Manhattan whereas extensive communal spaces invite to meet your neighbors. For the façade Concrete custom designed a range of upcycled bricks capturing 260K of construction debris.
Urby - offers a new type of branded and programmed living for the rental market. Extensive communal spaces, including urban farming, artists in residence, huge communal green spaces form together with the relatively small apartments a lively neighborhood stimulating social sustainability. Every Urby is entered through a house-shaped entrance café that gives an instant feeling of coming home.
To solve the Dutch housing crisis in a social and sustainable way, Concrete and Moos developed 100% circular and modular homes for the social housing market. The prefabricated modules are fully demountable and reusable. Moos Euterpe was the first to deliver 30 houses, with ~ 500 homes scheduled in various Dutch locations.
Zoku - a new, community driven typology in hospitality and the future of work, suitable for long and short stays. In the Zoku Loft, instead of placing the bed at the center of the room, the table becomes the center piece, allowing for social or professional activities.
The BoTree Hotel & Bar - designed to capture the spirit of West London’s “village” life. The overall design evokes a luxurious but local feeling. The guestrooms have an innovative layout, which eschews traditional boundaries to offer suite qualities in as little as 25sqm.
