Two for one: connected Tokyo homes showcase the modern possibilities of multi-family living

  5. The two homes are 110-sq-m and 122-sq-m respectively, and each house is a continuous space, acting as a single room but is spread across different levels. - Kai Nakamura
  6. This was achieved by the insertion of a wooden loft above the kitchen, maintaining continuity but creating private niches. - Kai Nakamura
  7. Timber beams run the length of the home and other unfinished wood elements are also left visible like the loft platform and ceilings. - Kai Nakamura
