The UK’s biggest graduate art, design & fashion show returns to Brick Lane this month for its annual seven-week showcase of emerging British-based talent.
Free Range 2013 will see a hundred courses and more than 3000 students take part in a series of free exhibitions across five disciplines: fashion & textiles; design; photography & media; contemporary & fine art; interior design & architecture.
Under the guidance of founder and creative director Tamsin O’Hanlon, Free Range is now a crucial part of London’s cultural calendar and has established itself as the place to discover tomorrow’s big design stars.
New for this year, Free Range is creating a dedicated networking space & café in the Loading Bay on Dray Walk. This will provide an informal meeting space for students, industry and media, with coffee, wi-fi and seating available.
If you can’t make it down in person, check out the online portfolios on www.free-range.org.uk
The interior design & architecture exhibitions will take place from 11– 15 July and are free to attend.
Free Range will take place in the Old Truman Brewery (www.trumanbrewery.com) from the 29May – 15July.
