French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and Istanbul-based furniture company Parla have unveiled Palm, a versatile collection of seating and low tables.

Conceived for use in commercial interiors, Palm was born from Wilmotte & Industries’ search for a high-end furniture manufacturer to produce a collection with, for hospitality projects in the south of France. Its partnership with the family company Parla has given birth to seats, stools, daybeds and low tables driven by an ethos of understated refinement. Three lines – Regular, Comfort and Lounge – ensure that clients can utilize Palm in a wide spread of applications indoors and out.

The pieces’ coated metal frames and woven textile upholstery reflect the know-how and expertise of Wilmotte and Parla’s craftsmen, as well as the company’s investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. ‘As the collection aims to be included in hospitality interiors, we have ensured the highest standards for durability, specific outdoor finish qualities, suitable fabrics, and their certifications,’ explains Burak Öztunçman, general manager and owner of Parla.

Palm collection's seating and tables come in indoor and outdoor versions.

Diverse finishes and materials let customers explore their creativity through Palm, finding various compositions to complete interior – or exterior – scenes. Each of the seats and tables is available in an indoor and outdoor version, with appropriate materials for the setting. Options include water-resistant upholstery, leather arm-wraps and solid Iroko wood armrests. Tones like Bordeaux red, olive green and carbon grey are among the colour selections for the metal frame.

With a background in crafting furniture for the Ottoman Royal Family, Parla – established in 1910 – is well-positioned to develop enduring, timeless pieces. The Palm collection embodies this philosophy while presenting Wilmotte’s contemporary vision, bringing tradition and modernity to spaces.
