The spaces we inhabit play a critical role in our health and wellness. The Restorative Room – FRAME’s second collaboration with auction platform Catawiki – features 150 products with positive mental and physical impact from European designers.
The words ‘wellbeing’ and ‘health’ in relation to spatial design are no longer limited to the healthcare domain. By holistically addressing how our interiors can improve our wellbeing and health, we can turn spaces into tools for healing, both physical and emotional. This idea lies at the heart of our second collaboration with online auction platform Catawiki: The Restorative Room, live for bidding now.
Including 136 lots of design pieces from established and emerging European contemporary designers, the auction spans furniture and lighting to decorative objects and art. FRAME has curated The Restorative Room with a sensitivity for wellbeing and comfort, referring to key tenets such as light therapy, biophilic design and mindfulness. We’re becoming more aware of how our surroundings impact how we feel, and with this curation, we aim to empower designers and consumers in making conscious decisions for outfitting healthy spaces.
Featured designs were chosen for their ability to give direction to these restorative, regenerative interiors. Andreas Bachmann and Fritz Grospietsch’s Set B – an elegant exercise set for Kenko – can elevate one’s at-home fitness routine, for instance, while Laurène Guarneri’s water-inspired 11h20 Mirror invites quiet moments of contemplation. Products from Studio Range, Gae Aulenti, Sandra Keja Planken, Tijs Gilde, and many more round out the collection.
Running until 28 January 2024, the FRAME x Catawiki Restorative Room auction is a special opportunity for access to some of the most innovative, imaginative designs on the market today. Happy bidding – and more important, good health to you!
