Material innovation. Superior comfort. Water – and energy – efficient. In Roca’s newest bathroom collection, Ona (which aptly means ‘wave’ in Catalan!), these characteristics come together. Developed in partnership with Noa Design and Benedito Design, Ona comprises a full-service offering, with basins and furniture, faucets, baths, accessories, WCs and bidets.
The designs embody Roca’s Mediterranean spirit – organic shapes and clean lines lend an atmospheric warmth to new-build and renovated bathrooms alike. And that goes for public and private environments: Ona is a suitable solution for a range of hygienic spaces, from main and secondary private and hotel bathrooms to high-traffic public washrooms. This flexibility and adaptability is indicative of the Spanish brand’s enduring commitment to always match beauty with technicality.
Ona certainly doesn’t waver when it comes to that promise – the high-performance line showcases a gamut of Roca’s latest innovations. The pieces are crafted with the cutting-edge materials Fineceramic® and Stonex®. Fineceramic® is a ceramic material that enables the creation of lightweight, fine washbasin designs; at the same time, it facilitates a more sustainable production process. All of its composites are natural, and the weight reduction allows for an efficient firing process and less impactful transport footprint.
Stonex®, on the other hand, is especially notable for its anti-slip properties and resistance to abrasion. Used in the development of the Ona bathtubs, it is soft to the touch. The Supraglaze® coating is showcased on the washbasins and WCs, which are all rimless. It prevents dirt build-up and gives way to easier water swirling upon flush; the WCs are easy to clean and supremely hygienic.
The pure white sanitary fixtures pair seamlessly with bathroom furniture in white, matte grey, dark elm, light oak and matte green.
