With the vision of interpreting Sámi architecture to facilitate synergies between the building and its diverse users, the multifunctional building incorporates traditional building elements such as ‘the skylight in the vestibule, the visible supporting structure, and the unifying roof with its soft shape,’ says Bård Vaag Stangnes, senior Snøhetta architect and project leader of Čoarvemátta. - Lars Petter Pettersen
