Unilin Panels’ modular wall-cladding system Clicwall is quick to install, instantly complete and affordable – the ultimate renovation tool.

The Belgian brand’s desire to create a simple solution for creative, time-sensitive projects led to the creation of Clicwall. Melamine-faced non-structural MDF boards for separation walls and wall linings, the products make it seamless to give interiors a facelift. Including corner profiles and skirting boards, the Unilin system gets its functionality from a patented smart-click profile.

A range of 143 colours – from ‘tiger orange’ to ‘pearl oak’ – give designers the ability to truly accommodate their chosen aesthetic with Clicwall. Clients can also opt for custom surfacing, designing unique painted or digitally printed Clicwall Deco panels. ‘Clicwall is ideal for renovations, especially if the timing is tight,’ explains project consultant Ines Goeminne. ‘Thanks to the impact-resistant and low-maintenance melamine top layer, you can start using the wall straight away without any worries.’

Such was the case for interior architects Danny Hoorelbeke of Project Vijf and Marianne Scheyving of mINT Architectuur, who were tapped to revitalize De Haan, Belgium’s Hotel Astoria. Clicwall enabled the design professionals to meet a tight four-month deadline for renovating the Belle Époque building. Clicwall’s durability and ease of maintenance make it a prime product candidate for more intensive environments too, such as hospitals, offices and schools.

Clicwall is a sustainable market offering as well. The boards are crafted from 100 per cent recovered wood, sourced from from waste flows from the wood industry or thinned wood from sustainable forestry and verge management.
