California natives Carol Lim and Humberto Leon launched a virtual exhibition, Grace to the Nth Power, to showcase Kenzo’s Fall 2014 collection. The founders of Opening Ceremony have been the creative directors of Kenzo for 3 years – injecting the Paris-based fashion brand with their OC vision, apparent with their recent endeavors. Grace to the Nth Power is the result of collaborating with Partel Oliva, a creative duo that oversees the art direction, along with web and 3D designers Kim Boutin and David Broner of digital studio DVDTKM.
On a dedicated website, connect your mobile phone to explore the virtual spaces remotely. The experience of the Fall 2014 collection is a foray into the uncanny, immersing visitors into a dark and eerie space filled with artworks and video screens. Scroll and stroll towards a screen and see the Fall 2014 collection mysteriously unfold. The videos feature music by New-York based visual artist and composer Fatima Al Qadiri.
The virtual videos and digital artworks will make their ‘physical’ debut during an exhibition running from September 24h - 26th at Galerie 12Mail, 12 rue du Mail, Paris.
