Soon, you will need to purchase a plan for unlimited access to FRAME’s online editorial content. Why the change, and what do you get out of it? We chart out everything you need to know below.

If you’re a long-time reader of FRAME, you’ll know that our team has been committed to serving the spatial design community for over 25 years. In the past two decades, we’ve watched the industry mature, innovate and inspire, with readers like you leading its progress.

Today, value-driven design is more essential than ever. Designers must answer the call for more sustainable, inclusive and human-centric spaces. We understand the times beg coverage that cuts through the noise and provides actionable information. So we have steadily worked toward making our website a tool where you have insight-driven reportage, the most influential spaces and access to your peers at your fingertips. Thanks to our Awards environment, it's also a place where you can share your work and be celebrated. We’ve reworked our editorial strategy and collaborated with our developers to create a better, brighter web platform. Nevertheless, none of this is possible to maintain without your help. That’s why, with the launch of our updated platform later this month, we are introducing a paywall. In short, it’s because we want to keep raising the bar for you. So you can keep designing spaces that matter.

The digital membership to frameweb.com gives unlimited access to all of FRAME’s website content. Our online platform consists of more than 10,000 articles, updated every day with curated project reviews, research articles and more. And, with a new customizable library, you’ll be able to create your own space of design intelligence. Awards content will remain accessible, and non-paying users will be able to read three free editorial articles per month.

Going forward, we are also adapting the approach to our print publication. We will reduce our magazine issues from six to five a year. Like so many others, we are facing unprecedented rising costs. Moving to five issues per year helps us prevent a price hike for our subscribers.  Crafted from a forward-looking agenda, each issue will feature a specific theme that defines the future of interior design. We will kick off each year with The State of Interior Design, an annual review edition. With these changes we hope to bring you an even more focused, relevant and in-depth magazine.

With your frameweb.com account, you’ll be able to choose from a Digital-only plan or a Digital and Print plan, which grants you full online access and a magazine subscription. A new online customer service portal helps you manage your personal data with ease: here, you can view purchase history, access subscription details and modify contact information at any time.

FRAME has long been synonymous with intelligence that empowers interior designers worldwide. We believe in the significance of interior design and its power to improve the daily lives of so many, recognizing the fact that we spend 80 per cent of our time indoors. That aspiration is unchanged. With the updates implemented we hope to serve you better and continue being your source for interior design inspiration, knowledge and insight.
