1.  ALBERT CAIOLA’S DESIGN SHANGHAI 2021 STAND FOR HERMAN MILLER
Alberto Caiola Studio

Flexible living is at the heart of this Albert Caiola Studio-designed exhibition booth at the Design Shanghai 2021 show (total score 5.86; Trade-Fair Stand), which showcased Herman Miller home and office furniture. The space was divided into four distinct areas: a living area, gaming space, home office and dining room, and are separated by gridded partitions. In lieu of traditional spotlights, illuminated tiles were used to ‘invite visitors to think about the home in quite literally a different and new light’. ‘The ideas present in this space line up very closely with the main design message of the Herman Miller brand. Very smart design,’ remarks Vladislav Spitsyn, managing partner at Front Architecture.
