Sarika Shetty, partner at SJK Architects
Sarika Shetty is a partner at SJK Architects, a Mumbai-based architecture, interior design and masterplanning practice founded in 1990 by Shimul Javeri Kadri. Weaving together her interests in cultural histories, anthropology, and nature, her work cuts across typologies and is marked by a deep commitment to creating evocative spaces that embody the cultural ethos of a place. Since 2001, she has led the design of multiple award-winning projects that exemplify the firm’s ethos of designing spaces attuned to climate, culture, history, technology, and above all, communities. Sarika believes that architecture can shape our very identities – and thus, must be designed sensitively for each user’s holistic needs. Embracing the position of mediator between the client, stakeholders, and society, she strives to design architecture as a cohesive narrative that is socially, culturally, and environmentally responsible.

Sam Derrick, managing director at Brinkworth

Since joining Brinkworth in 2010, Sam Derrick has overseen notable projects for Supreme, Nike, Samsung, Rapha, Boxpark, Stussy & New Balance. A highly-valued member of the team, Sam works at the leading edge of spatial and experiential design. His insights into developing global concepts for clients has given him a great understanding of how brands must remain commercial and scale their offer across their estate whilst also connecting with their customers in new, innovative ways. Sam studied at Chelsea College of Art & Design (now UAL), gaining a BA in Interior and Spatial Design. He became a Design Director of Brinkworth in 2015 and, since 2024, has taken on the role of Managing Director. 


Peter Meinders, lecturer at Saxion University of Applied Sciences
Multihyphenate Peter Meinders is an interior design lecturer at the biggest interior design school in the Netherlands, passing his experience and knowledge on to the next generation of designers. After studying Interior Architecture and Art & Environment at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht and completing internships and seminars at proment studios like Rob Eckhardt, Duinker & van der Torre Architecten and Renzo Piano, Peter Meinders worked at Insight Interieurarchitecten, eventually founding of conceptCie. He’s the founder of gallery KVNSTMARCKT and Culinary gallery Confit. In addition to his professional achievements, he considers himself an aesthere and an outdoorsman.

Laetitia Murguet, founder of Oani Studio
Laetitia Murguet is the Founder of Lisbon based ŌANI Studio, a design practice specializing in high-end design and large, single residential projects. Over the last decade, she has led some of the most daring projects in Portugal, New York, London and France, operating at the intersection of interior architecture, global luxury management and property development. Projects include super-yacht interiors, chalets, private residences and heritage palaces. Working closely with artists and craftsmen, as well as visionary clients, the studio strives to produce legacy work that favours meaning over spectacle, creating emotionally captivating spaces that challenge the traditional idea of luxury through an intentional, narrative driven approach. Renowned for her keen sensitivity for materiality, Laetitia creates interiors that provide a sense of calm and serenity, facilitating transformation, intimacy, and ritual.  She infuses her work with ancient wisdom and holistic design principles, integrating into her designs features that encourage a new, meaningful relationship with home living. 

Kevin McLachlan, CEO of nomadk Design
Kevin McLachlan is a Scottish-born interior architect based in Dubai whose work merges narrative, material richness, and contextual intelligence. A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, McLachlan brings over 35 years of experience designing hospitality and cultural spaces across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. His portfolio spans region-defining projects that blend heritage and innovation. Most recently, he completed TheLighthouse for Emirates NBD—a glass structured rooftop pavilion for conferences, meetings, and majlis functions that embodies both openness and executive vision. As founder of Nomadk Design, McLachlan leads a multidisciplinary team pushing the boundaries between architecture, interiors, and experience. NOMADK’s practice spans micro-architecture, emotionally intelligent environments, and modular design systems. From brand collaborations to bespoke hospitality, the studio creates spaces and objects that are as culturally attuned as they are commercially viable. Through this integrative approach, McLachlan continues to explore how spatial design can shape memory, influence behaviour, and elevate the everyday. 

Jessica Dimcevski, creative director and founder of Blurr Bureau

Jessica Dimcevski is the Founder and Creative Director of Blurr Bureau, a brand strategy and design studio with roots in New York and Melbourne. Blurr crafts premium, insight-led brand identities and immersive design systems that cut through the noise, building brands that break through the blur. Jessica launched Blurr with a clear mission: to rethink the traditional agency model. By removing the layers of internal politics and leaning into a global, remote-first network of top creative talent, Blurr was built to deliver high-impact creative partnerships. Jessica’s work spans categories and continents, with standout recent projects including the immersive brand and hospitality experience for Lucia - one of Australia’s buzziest new venues -and Mello, a luxury sensorial spa in Bali. With over a decade of experience at leading innovation and strategy agencies in both New York and Melbourne, Jessica has helped shape global and emerging brands alike—from PepsiCo and HelloFresh to Mercedes-Benz, Johnson & Johnson and Flings. Her work has been recognized by D&AD, Pentawards, The Dieline, Good Design Australia, and more. Ultimately, Jessica measures success by the impact Blurr’s work has on its clients, building brands that unlock growth and profit, spark fandom, and stand the test of time. 

Hongbo Chen, creative director and founder of LubanEra·Design 

Founder of LubanEra·Design Hongbo Chen does not pursue a particular design style, but explores the commercial value that aesthetics create for a space. Hongbo’s design approach addresses issues like how to integrate market demands and operational functions into a space, how to break out of outdated design rules, reorganizing them to transform and reshape aesthetics and how to place emphasis on the sense of integration between spaces and the people interacting with them, de-emphasizing the presence of design itself. LubanEra:Design creates showrooms, shops, office spaces and concept stores for clients like Momoya, Hildich & Key and Resoul.

Fo Chen, general manager of Guangzhou Baietan Mixc

With over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Fo Chen has been in charge of numerous industry-leading projects at top companies such as Swire Properties and China Resources. His responsibilities have covered project planning and opening, brand leasing and operational upgrades. He has been deeply involved in key projects like Guangzhou Taikoo Li, Beijing Sanlitun Taikoo Li, and Xi'an Taikoo Li. He also served as the head of international brand leasing at CR Commercial Headquarters, familiarizing himself with diverse commercial systems and operational logics. Currently, he is fully responsible for Guangzhou Baietan Mixc, a leading property management and commercial operation service provider in China, positioning itself as an ‘urban quality lifestyle service platform’.

Billy Ip, principal and global sector leader for retail at Woods Bagot

Billy owns over 15 years of professional experience. He started his career with Ogilvy and Mather in Melbourne, Australia where he developed his skills in branding and spatial design; and has joined Woods Bagot in Asia since 2006 where he has established himself as one of the regional most widely recognized names in design innovation for integrated branded and lifestyle environments. He leads Woods Bagot’s regional retail sector with responsibilities for the creative directions and successful deliveries of multiple high-profile projects. His designs are frequently being recognized and received numerous prestigious international awards. In addition to exploring future retail strategies to devise design solutions that delight and engage retailers, brands and end-users alike, Billy also conducts creative workshop with client groups to unlock various potentials of projects. Additionally, he is a sought-after expert contributor and a keynote speaker to international design and real estate industry forums and conferences throughout Australia and Asia.
