Laura C. Bielecki, associate director of interiors at Dubai Holding Real Estate
Laura C. Bielecki is an accomplished interior design leader with a deep understanding of international markets. As associate director of interiors at Dubai Holding Real Estate, she drives innovative and sustainable design strategies for major residential and hospitality developments in the UAE, including Dubai Islands, Bay Villas, Bay Grove Apartments and multifamily residences in City Walk and Palm Jebel Ali. A LEED Accredited Professional, sustainability inspires her designs. She is also an active industry contributor, advising institutions, speaking at global events and mentoring young designers.
Joya Nandurdikar, founding partner of Untitled Design and Furgonomics
Joya Nandurdikar is the founding partner at Untitled Design, a New Delhi-based, award-winning design practice redefining architecture and interiors for over two decades. Committed to reviving indigenous crafts, her firm collaborates with artisans to blend traditional artistry with contemporary design. In 2022, she co-founded Furgonomics with Amrita Guha, a product design brand fusing global techniques with local craftsmanship to create bespoke luxury pieces. With a diploma in Interior Design, Joya’s career has been shaped by sustainability, cultural richness and a holistic approach to design. Recognized with numerous accolades, including AD 100 (2016-2025) and IID Awards (2008-2023), she has also served as a faculty member in Interior Design under the Delhi administration.
Adrien Ganassin, senior director of design and development for food and beverage at Marriott International
With an extensive background working with luxury hospitality brands across Europe and the Americas, Adrien Ganassin has experience in all facets of the industry. Currently serving as Marriott International’s senior director of design and development for food and beverage, he oversees proceedings across the company’s diverse portfolio of properties in the Caribbean and Latin America. Ensuring meaningful guest experiences and fostering strategic partnerships to enhance the brands’ value are essential to his work. Adrien also serves as an advisory board member of the Hotel and Resort Design South and judges the Restaurants and Bars Design Awards.
Kevin Haley, founder and managing director of Kevin Haley Studio
London-based Kevin Haley is the founder and managing director of Kevin Haley Studio, a consultancy and design practice bridging the gap between strategic placemaking and immersive spatial design. With over 25 years of experience, Kevin aims to connect communities and transform spaces through bold, narrative-driven design concepts. Spanning retail, hospitality, culture and workplace projects, his work is diverse but always centres around community. Kevin also teaches Interior Design at the Royal College of Art, where he pioneered and leads the super SATELLITE space – a hub for making, sustainable design and community engagement.
Jugal Mistri, founder and principal architect of JMA Mumbai
Jugal Mistri is the founder of JMA Mumbai, known for its distinctive design approach across diverse cultural and economic landscapes. A postgraduate in Urban Design from Columbia University, he worked on city planning with the New York Mayor’s office before gaining experience in large-scale developments at Oppenheim Architecture and Design in Miami and luxury hospitality projects at Studio Gaia, New York. Since founding JMA in 2012, Jugal has led projects across India – from luxury residences and commercial spaces to socially impactful designs like repurposed shipping containers schools and healthcare facilities. Named among Architects & Interiors India’s ‘50 Under 40’, he is a sought-after speaker and industry expert.
Xiao Ou, founder and design director of XIAOOU Office
Founder and design director of XIAOOU Office and a graduate of the Interior Design programme at Politecnico di Milano, Xiao Ou has a distinctive approach to design with a focus on catering, fashion and new retail formats. His notable projects include KUDDO, Spring Patio, eggsinn and Human unborad. Establishing XIAOOU Office in 2020, he aims to advance the industry by creating culturally rich, personalized projects. Viewing design as both an aesthetic language and a conduit for meaningful expression, his studio actively explores the regenerative growth of materials, pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation.
Valeria Segovia, principal of Gensler
With 18 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams, Valeria Segovia delivers innovative, sustainable and community-focused design solutions that make a difference. Currently Gensler’s principal and design director, Valeria has a diverse portfolio spanning mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, residential and cultural projects. She is particularly passionate about sustainability and circular design, with the goal of reinventing existing structures to minimize environmental impact. A dedicated mentor and advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion, Valeria serves on Hackney Council’s Design Review Panel and is a member of Gensler’s Global Inclusion Committee.
Bani Singh, founder of GroundedDesign
Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, Bani Singh founded her interior design venture, Grounded Design, in 2017 after a decade of working in the field of children’s rights. Born in Iran and raised in Sweden, Bani’s upbringing infuses the company with a unique perspective, crafting high-end residential, commercial and hospitality spaces that pay homage to simplicity and functionality. Now based in Dubai, Bani and her team share a vision of authenticity and meticulous execution, resulting in projects that closely cater to inhabitants’ needs and desires.
Fernando Sordo Madaleno de Haro, principal of Sordo Madaleno
As the third generation of architects at Sordo Madaleno, Fernando Sordo Madaleno has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s legacy since becoming director of architecture in 2016. Originally from Mexico City, Fernando graduated with honours from his degree in Architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana in 2014 and currently lives in London where he established Sordo Madaleno’s newly inaugurated London studio. His approach is grounded in thorough research and a profound sensitivity to context, culture and climate, earning the firm widespread acclaim. Fernando also delivers talks on his primary design approach and has earned numerous awards such as the Architecture MasterPrize and the A+ Awards from Architizer.
Song Zhen, vice president of decoration and general manager of interior design for Wide Horizon Investment Group
Both vice president of decoration and general manager of interior design for Wide Horizon Investment Group, Song Zhen drives the company’s spatial aesthetic across its diverse portfolio. Overseeing commercial, residential and educational projects, Song leads both high-level design strategy and the finer details, including soft decorations and public art. Receiving her Master's degree from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, she previously lectured at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to her corporate role, she serves as art director of strategic public construction projects, further influencing the built environment through her design expertise.
